Sodalite gemstone beaded prayer rope chotki

Sodalite is a dark blue stone with gray/white veins

50-bead Orthodox prayer rope (chotki/komboskini) for praying the Rule of the Mother of God (Theotokos)

Every decade (10 beads) is separated by a metal bead of a different shape.  Finished with a knotted cross.

The beads are each approximately 8mm long.

Each is handmade by a nun of the Convent of St. Mary Magdalene, an Orthodox women's monastery in Mississippi.
